Katie’s book, Trauma-Responsive Strategies for Early Childhood, was published by Redleaf press in the fall of 2020.
Katie has also written about trauma for the NAEYC’s highly respected journal Young Children. Katie’s article Creating Trauma Sensitive Classrooms won a 2016 Gold Excel Award for Best Feature Article: “Best in depth exploration of a single topic.”
Katie was honored to have this same article included in NAEYC’s book Spotlight on Young Children: Social and Emotional Development.
